MOVIE REVIEW: TOY STORY 3 (3D) (U)

SLIDERS REVIEW:

Even I’m sad to see Andy go to college but hey you know what they say... “All good things must come to an end”. Age is something that keeps going up and doesn’t stop. That’s the thing the toys had to accept. From 1995 when we first meet Andy in his nursery, we have come to love Toys Stories so it’s sad that The Director Lee Ulkrich had to paints us a ending. *sigh*
This moving 3D animation film looked stunning visually, the detail on everything from the main characters to the surroundings was a spectacle to watch.  I’m going to have to say that I preferred this to Shrek 4. This movie will find its way into the top best films of 2010.There’s just something about these characters that catches my attention span especially Buzz Lightyear voiced by Tim Allen. He will have to be my favourite character.

When the kids see the toys waving a final goodbye to Andy, some will cry whilst others will hold it in. this moment is not too big for anyone not to get emotional about. we are all humans right? so adults get your handkerchiefs ready. There are just touching moments in this film everyone will remember for years to come.

Also was watching this film and I was thinking imagine if this happened to toys in real life, I mean like if they came alive whenever nobody was looking at them. It makes me think back to when I was a kid and how I treated my toys.  As the credit rolls in to finish off this third instalment in the Toy Story series I felt to stand up and give a round of applause.

Thank You Pixar Animation Studios for such legendary characters.

*TO INFINITY & BEYOND*

MY STAR RATINGS OUT OF 5:    4.5 ++++~

ONE FAVOURITE MOMENT IN THE FILM:

The part where the toys are about to be melted in the hot fire. They all try their hardest to escape but aren’t strong enough. They give up look at each other lock hands and admit defeat. They sit there with the saddest faces you ever seen on a toy and wait for their end. This scene was truly moving. Their locked hands showed their bond. As one they were all preparing to die together. But luckily they don’t as their saved by the Squeeze Toy Aliens. (Phew)

(if you loved another moment in the film, please feel free to tell me in the comments)

SYNOPSIS:

As they find out that Andy’s plans the toys are mistakenly delivered to a day-care centre. They feel it’s their new life after being abandoned here. Woody disagrees and must convince the rest of the gang that they belong with Andy and him only. Will they make it back home in time before Andy leaves for college?
