THE REVIEW:
This film is probably going to be the only film EVER (well in 2011) that the trailer does not do itself justice, most films these days give their best bits. The trailer for this film does not bring across the edge it deserved. Everyone has to watch this & see what a heart racing experience it is.

I watched Mother’s Day & was surprised on how many times the events on screen had my mouth wide open because I was left in shock of how sick, twisted & just totally messed up most of these characters were. The storyline is executed brilliantly, the lengths gone to keep the audience amused deserves a standing ovation. The mix of horror, crime, and suspense gave all the grittiness one could ever hope in a film like this
It’s basically about three very dangerous boys who come back to where they used to live with their mother who orders them to do bad & evil things to the new owners and their friends. This so called ‘Mother’ is one evil B*tch because she talks with such right to her wrong doings that the only way I could justify it was that was she was one crazy, mental, deluded, monstrous… (I could go on but you’d be here all day reading words that described this pyscho lol) There is no dull moment, well not when these nutjobs are about pointing their guns & dominating these helpless people.

I have not seen a film like this in a long time, it’s so engaging that I didn’t want to miss a moment of it once the momentum picked up. It gets straight into the story and don’t dwell on introduction. We catch the story along the way and as we go along we begin to understand it more. The moment the suspense factor kicked in that’s when the director Bousman started to experiment with characters, pushing everyone to their limit and also see how many torture games they could fit in (He brings in some of the Saw Movie traits), this is one of them expect the unexpected films (you cant go wrong). This film was so easy to rate, it deserve top marks for the acting, story twists and the graphic scenes <--(these scenes will amaze you like it did me). Everything just fitted perfectly and even at the end when you think everything is set and done we are left with more thinking to do. This is a must watch
The whole cast was brilliant, everyone played their roles exceptionally well.

OVERALL: Brilliantly Executed Movie.
STAR RATINGS OUT OF 5:  5
