THE REVIEW:
Ladies and Gentlemen, the stiffmeister, the twice pre ejaculator and his friends are back with the eighth piece (instalment) of American Pie. These quirky high school kids have all grown up and have had to take on natural responsibilities that Adulthood brings. But for a couple days leading to their reunion they have linked up to try & bring back the feelings & sceneries of the good old days. I was able to catch a very late viewing of this and boy do we have another funny one. I loved how everyone stayed the same, Stiffler is still a "dick" (obviously), Jim is still watching his porn (even in marriage), Finch is still that weird cool sounding guy (hmmm...), Oz & Kevin are both in rocky relationships and the rest are still with their unresolved issues. Expect cute mixed with crude when watching this.
I was surprised on how the storyline went down, its well written and does not drag. There were lots of hilarious scenarios on screen where i just couldn't help but chuckle (loudly) because only these guys would find themselves in it. The dramatic scenes can be smelt a mile off so the overall effect doesn't overwhelm and ruin the tone. The jokes came fast, unforced and timed very well. I actually didn't even feel 113 minutes go by because of the films pacing, and It was good how they brought back all the original characters and even added a few new ones. If there's one thing this film makes you feel is the feeling of getting old and realising that one day you yourself will get to forty plus and have to deal with relationships and life. (sucks doesn't it). Anyways, one thing is certain, If you loved the previous American Pie's then get ready because they have saved the best piece for last. (little cliché but forgiveable)
The cast were just brilliant, these characters took the stage and did their job. As usual Stiffler (Seann William Scott) is the leader of the mayhem and gets the #StarOfTheShowAward. His role is just iconic with the amount of laughs he brings. His boys Jim (Jason Biggs), Oz (Chris Klein) & Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas) also get screen time to also make us laugh. Even Jim's dad adds his own to the mix (with help from Stifflers mum)
OVERALL: The last 20 minutes of the film.

The last 20minutes

TRAILER:
The original gang is back and still have the comedic timing they did 13 years ago, which is always fun no matter what. There isn’t anything new or special about this entry into the series but for anyone who wants some nice 1999 nostalgia, then this is the perfect fit. Good review. I liked it a lot more than the previous two sequels though, which may not be saying too much but still says something.
