Did you knowIron Man 3 was coming? Well YES its in the making and set for release on the 26 April 2013 (UK). I don't want to say too much but from what ive seen its looks like its going to be bigger than ever. Tony Stark will head to china where he will face his toughest opponent, Mandarin. Filming began May 23 2012.
<< On the LEFT you can see what Iron Man will look like in its third movie. This will be the 5th time we will see Robert Downey Jr as this character. The new suit looks ever so cool. We can expect big stunts and action scenes. Tony stark storyline deals with him fighting his inner demons, being Iron Man we have seen the pros in previous films now we get a little more about the Cons.
Boooo! The Marvel president has revealed that The Hulk(who we all loved in The Avengers) will not be making an appearance in Iron Man 3. Kevin Feige (Iron Man 3 Producer) reportedly said:

Don Cheadle (James Rhodes) stated in an interview trying not to give too much away, he says:“I’m wearing some suits yes. I can’t give it all away but I have to put metal on.” He will play War Marchine. We can expect these two to get on like a hose on fire. Stan Lee maybe set to make an appearance.

After seeing that poster your probably wondering (if you don't already know) what film that is. Well that Ladies and Gents this is the new Warner Bros. movie 'Gangster Squad'. On face value it looks like they took the Rockstar video game L.A. Noire and made it into a film. Packed with famous faces it looked like something worth leaving a note in your diary for (it has even been tipped for awards). But before you go goggling and getting all exited you need to know that because of the Colorado massacre (cinema shooting) which saw 12 people killed and many injured, the film has had to be given a NEW release date.
The movie is said to feature scenes in which a character guns down a member of the LAPD in a Theatre. With that the film will not be getting the September 2012 release. Scenes have even have to be cut from the final piece. Warner Bros. do not want to be seeing glamorizing the killings that happened.
Gangster Squad will now be released January 11th, 2013.
(I'm sure it will be worth the wait)

The Dark Knight Rises is a superhero film Directed by Christopher Nolan (same guy that brought us Inception & Dark Knight etc..) Eight years on, a new terrorist has emerged in the name of Bane, he's able to overwhelm Gothams finest. The Dark Knight has to resurface to protect a city that has already branded him an enemy. Its Starring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Marion Cotillard & Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
#FilmFact: Angelina Jolie, Natalie Portman, Jessica Biel, Charlize TheronEmily Blunt, Vera Farmiga, Gemma Arterton, Abbie CornishEva GreenKate Mara, Blake LivelyCharlotte Riley, Olivia Wilde and Keira Knightley all auditioned for the role of Selina Kyle. After the initial audition process, Green, Biel and Knightley all screen tested. Anne Hathaway then went on to won the role.

Its always a privilege when The Christopher Nolan decides to grace the world with another Batman film from his trilogy. He has not disappointed since he picked up the first script. The buzz over the Net, Radio & TV has been uncontrollable & on going for months for the much anticipated return of this DC comic. Even the trailer was already showing qualities of something special. I managed to catch a daytime viewing two days after its release. I've always been a superhero movie fan so going to see this film was exciting times for me. After watching this movie I was on my feet clapping as I walked out the cinema lol. What an epic production The Dark Knight Rises is. The drama, action and entertainment levels were over the roof. The length of the movie was just perfect, there was enough time to really absorb the storyline. With brilliant work comes good editing, visuals and of course direction. You really couldn't ask for much more with action scenes like this on screen. Just Beautiful.
Direction. Mr Nolan once again does what he does best and that's to produce top notch movies. It must be very hard to be able to run a movie for almost 3 hours and still manage to keep up the intensity. The writers have smartly planned each words said in scenes making the relationships between characters even more believable. This movie sucks you in emotionally but still shows the what gritty and gruesome world Gotham can become.
The exclusive line up of stars on show is just perfect. The talent on screen is the proof in this pudding. Christian Bale, is still an amazing Batman. Michael Caine actually pulled out an award worthy performance here. His emotions felt ever so real. Tom Hardy is the best looking baddie I've seen in a long time. His physique, I bet just looking at his face is bound to get you scared (let alone hearing him speak). Anna Hathaway was in a real tug of war as she tried to stole the show with her smart & fearsome antics. Joseph Gordon-Levitt was also brilliant. Great performances.
I would recommend this film to anyone that wants to see a great script and an action packed film. The direction really takes you to another level.

The Amazing Spider-Manis a action & adventure film Directed by Marc Webb(same guy that brought us "500 Days of Summer"). Peter Parker finds a clue that might help him understand why his parents disappeared when he was young. This eventually leads him on a collision course with Dr. Curt Connors, his father former partner. Its starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Dennis Leary, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Irrfan Khan & Chris Zylka. .
#FilmFact: The second film is already scheduled for May 2014. . #FilmFact: When first wearing the Spider-Man costume Andrew Garfield admitted to shedding tears. . #FilmFact: Taylor Lautner, Josh Hutcherson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Logan Lerman, Robert Pattinson, Jamie Bell, Daniel Radcliffe, Michael Angarano, Michael Cera, Alden Ehrenreich, Zac Efron, Aaron Johnson,Xavier Samuel, Jim Sturgess and Anton Yelchin were also considered to play the lead role.

THE REVIEW:
After the cancellation of "Spider-Man 4" which would have continuedTobey Maguire'sstory, we are brought this one complete with new cast & direction. I was only able to watch this reboot from the Spider-Man film franchise a couple days after its release. The storyline portrays Spider-Man from when he is still a kid & teenager. This is where he comes across his new found powers and starts to develop them. Lead actor Andrew Garfield & Director Marc Webb take centre stage & present us with their interpretation of Spider-Man. I am impressed with Mr Webb's work here because I could tell when watching he had taken great care with most scenes. I felt like Spider-Man was not just a computerised figure. It always felt like the character was alive & real throughout the time he was under the mask. As I watched on I came to understand why Mr Parker felt like it was his responsibility to protect the city from bad people.(as if i didn't already know)

Even though the action scenes were exciting to watch, I must still say I am a "if it aint broke, don't fix it" type of person. Yes its all well & good to rewrite a similar story with a new cast but why not just continue the old one?. I was surprised to hear that after just a couple films Spider-Man was rebooting. Films of this magnitude should only be rebooted after at least 6 movies. If Christian Bale (38 years old) can keep coming out with Batman films then so can Tobey Maguire (37 years old).

The cast was well selected. Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker) was a great choice to play Spider-Man, he fell into the role nicely. Mr Garfield gave this character a more wild & aggressive approach. He also had a emotional connection that's heartfelt and the chemistry with his opposite Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy) looked good enough to be real.

The 2002 Spider-Man film comes to mind alot when I watched this 2012 version as many elements from the old is carried into this new script. The storyline is written to an extent & I don't like the fact I already knowing the skeleton of the film. Dejavu is an awkward feeling when sitting in a cinema seat. Nobody wants to pay to watch a film they've seen a similar version of. However, like I said the action scenes are where the money is, seeing The Amazing Spider-Man in 3D was truly awesome. Swinging off building & through the city. Hanging off poles & cranes. Fighting a science made monster & the law are just a few things on show. The 3D enhanced the experience a little further. Mr Webb was able captures the beauty of New York & its tall buildings. Spider-Man's suit did looked better than I had seen it in previous films, his web shooter was also cool to watch in action.

As a whole I don't think this reboot makes any major point as the original a little better. I know I should give this new one a chance, but i think I speak for most when i say that you cant take a worldwide superhero comic and reinvent him... for no reason. I just cant forget that Tobey Maguire is the original creepy crawly. Sorry Andrew.
OVERALL:GOOD ENTERTAINMENT.

So it is very much a (director) Shane Black/Tony Stark story.”
